Kraft Foundation Gives $20 Million to Advance Personalized Medicine

The promise of precision (or personalized) medicine continues to gain momentum in the world of patient care, a fact not lost on New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft, who has - through the Robert and Myra Kraft Family Foundation - provided the Harvard Business School an endowment of $20 million. For the purpose of advancing the commercialization of personalized medicine, "the business professors will look for ways to reduce the costs of clinical trials to test personalized treatments. They will also study strategies to foster collaboration between researchers, the pharmaceutical industry, and investors to bring the treatments to market."
