Education and communication are key in promoting health and wellness. We know genetic testing can sound intimidating, so we want to help you communicate. We will provide a customized introduction to convey the importance of having your genetic profile and explain the addition of GnomeDX’s pharmacogenomic testing to your wellness program. We also make custom reminders for the onsite presentations so all you have to do is push "send".
ONSITE INTRODUCTION AND RESULTS PRESENTATION:
We will provide an onsite educational presentation to your employees which will explain gene-drug relationships, the risks of adverse drug reactions, the benefits of pharmacogenomic testing and the confidentiality of results. We include a live demonstration, staff to answer questions and testimonials of how PGx testing can help empower employees to improve their health.
According to your genetics it's important for some people to avoid sitting for long periods of time (even on road trips), avoid oral birth control and avoid kale. But you wouldn't know that without a genetic test. We complied a short list of things to improve your employee's health, specific to their genetics, to review with their doctor and nutritionist.
ONSITE SAMPLE COLLECTION:
“Time is money,” therefore we provide onsite sample collection. Our tests are quick and painless, using only cheek swabs. It’s so simple employees can do it themselves. Absent spouses and employees can send in samples to GnomeDX within 7 days of the on-site sample collection date using provided take-home kits.
Employees will be tested for our Comprehensive PGx Test which includes 12 genes, covering over 180 prescription medications. In addition, our panel screens for inherited cardiovascular disease risk, promoting early detection and prevention.
CORPORATE PILOT PRICING:
We want you to see for yourself just how valuable genetics can be in your wellness program. Contact GnomeDX with this form to learn about our Corporate pricing. This Pilot price includes the comprehensive test along with the email communication, presentations, reports and consultation. There are no additional fees associated with the program.
REPORT AND CONSULTATION:
Our test report results are sent per the employee’s consent to the employee, spouse, and their Primary Physician. The 2008 GINA Act prohibits employers or health insurance companies from using individuals genetic information to discriminate against them. GnomeDX will contact a employee’s physician to recommend any necessary changes in medication. A GnomeDX genetic counselor is available to consult with the employee, their physician or pharmacy manager upon request.
